A lavender bush is the subject of this photograph. Stopped down low to give a sharp area of focus on one bud, i like this photograph as the subject is not centered perfectly and the background is made up of purple blurs of other lavender heads.

I have always been fascinated by the passion flower due to its many levels and such delicate features. This photograph is taken from above and focuses on the top part of the flower to draw the eye towards it and to give an unusual focus point.
